The students should fill the pre-admission form which is available on the college Admission Portal

Submission of 500/- (non-refundable in all cases) form fees through the payment gateway

Admission will be offered based on the merit and availability of seats taken together. The candidate will be communicated via email about his/her offered seat or waitlisted number

Documents for Person with Disability
  • Physical Disability Certificate from a competent authority (The certificate should clearly state the disability is not less than 40% and that the disability is permanent in nature)
Documents for Non-Resident Indian (NRI ) Nationals (All documents are compulsory)
  • For Online programmes: Candidate can upload either Passport copy of Candidate or Govt. issued Identity Card
  • For Offline programmes: Passport copy of Candidate is compulsory
  • A Letter issued by the Indian Embassy indicating NRI status of Parent/ Sponsor/ Candidate
Documents for Overseas Citizenship of India/Person of Indian Origin(OCI/PIO) (All documents are compulsory)
  • For Online programmes: Candidate can upload either Passport copy of Candidate or Govt. issued Identity Card For Offline programmes: Passport copy of Candidate is compulsory
  • PIO (OCI) card copy (if the candidate is admitted under PIO (OCI) category)
Documents for Foreign Nationals (All documents are compulsory)

  • For Online programmes: Candidates can upload either Passport copy of Candidate or Govt. issued Identity Card
  • For Offline programmes: Passport copy of Candidate is compulsory

Higher Secondary School Certificate (H.S.C.) or equivalent examination Mark sheet OR Passing Certificate of attesting 10+2 years of education

Cancellation Policy

100% fees will be refunded if admission is cancelled on or before August 14, 2025 OR as per the UGC cancellation policy 2025, which ever is earlier

Important Instructions

  • A provisional seat will be offered based on the merit, and availability of seats. The candidate will be communicated via email about his/her status of admission whether confirmed or waitlisted. A candidate who has been offered a provisional seat will need to pay the full fees as applicable for the programme, within 8 days of the receipt of the offer letter, to secure the confirmed admission.
  • Candidate who does not pay the requisite amount as per the deadline will lose his/her claim on the confirmed seat during that phase.
  • Provisional admission needs to be confirmed within four working days of declaration of result of graduation or equivalent examinations, by paying the remaining balance of fees.
  • The final confirmation of admission is subject to physical verification of the documents. In case of non-availability of valid documents, the confirmation of the admission will result in cancellation.
  • Cancellation rules are available on the website for reference.
  • The admission schedule may change under unavoidable circumstances or as per directive / instructions from admitting authorities of Somaiya Vidyavihar University. The revised schedule, if any, will be notified on the website.
